Medway releases second 'Our Vision' video on complex, school roofs
Medway released the second video in its "Our Vision" series, outlining plans for a Public Safety & Municipal Complex and roof replacements at the middle and high schools, and held a public forum on the projects Thursday at Thayer Homestead.
The Town of Medway released the second installment of its "Our Vision" video series, focusing on two projects shaping the town's future: a Public Safety & Municipal Complex and roof replacements at the middle and high schools.
According to the release, the municipal complex project aims to centralize town services to improve efficiency and create long-term savings for taxpayers, while serving as what the town calls a "vibrant downtown anchor" to help create a walkable, connected town center. The release describes the design as incorporating eco-friendly systems paired with natural landscaping for neighborhood shielding.
The school roof replacement project is described as protecting students, staff and municipal assets at the middle and high schools.
The town held a public forum on the projects Thursday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. at Thayer Homestead, inviting residents to ask questions and help shape what the release calls "Medway's next chapter."
